BSG Member Fees
For the attention of BSG members:
Please be advised that our fees will be increasing from 1st June 2024.
The Building Safety Group values your membership highly and we take great pride in providing a service for your business. Like many companies however, especially during these very challenging times, our own operating costs have continued to rise. Which is why the BSG Board of directors have made this difficult decision. At this point I would like to remind you that all of BSG’s directors are members of the Building Safety Group, so will face the same rise in costs. As I’m sure you will appreciate, BSG is a ‘not for profit’ organisation which is run by its members and operates solely for the benefit of our member companies.
For your information, this is only the second time prices have risen within three years. The increase is also below the average rate of inflation for the past twelve months. We are therefore confident that BSG’s prices remain competitive within our sector for the quality of service provided.
It should also be mentioned that BSG continues to invest in the development of our services we provide for you. Here are some examples of the work which is being carried out:
- We are a making a significant investment by replacing our IT systems which will see new features and functionality added to the BSG Hub, Site Inspection reporting, and all of our RAMS apps.
- BSG is recruiting more Safety Advisers in regions where our members need them most. Many of our members rely on BSG to continue recruiting additional Safety Advisers which helps to keep their own HR costs lower.
- We have opened a new office in Scotland so that BSG can better support our members located north of the border.
- BSG has introduced new training courses at the request of our members which can be provided at BSG’s Training Centre, locally on your premises, or remotely online. All courses are run at a 20% discount for members only.
- In house BSG Safety Adviser training takes place regularly to ensure that the service we provide is consistent and remains relevant to your business
I therefore hope you will agree that BSG continues to provide a high level of service for your company and trust you will understand why we have taken the decision to increase our fees.
Regards
Stephen Bell, Managing Director
